This is one for all you people out there with a cervix. If you’ve got one, make sure you get your smear regularly. There’s a new option of HPV testing with a vaginal swab that you can DIY if you prefer. I like having a nurse do a smear because they give me weird compliments on my anatomy which I find amusing and sometimes I get a nurse with good banter.
I designed this stitch when I was waiting for my appointment for a LLETZ treatment because I had some abnormal cells and I like stitching stuff that relates to current events. I had another abnormal smear earlier this year so had a colposcopy this morning which is why I’m sharing this pattern today.
